What is an editorial letter?
Think of your editorial letter as a supportive roadmap that guides your revisions—giving you clear, focused advice without getting bogged down in line-by-line edits. Its goal is to strengthen the heart of your story before polishing the finer details. I highlight the strengths of your characters’ chemistry, emotional arcs, and romantic tension, while also pointing out areas where the plot, pacing, or character development could be stronger.

What are your rates?
All of my rates are posted under each service on the services page. For each project, I create a scope of work (corporate girlie til I die!) where all rates will be outlined and agreed upon by the author before we kick off work. A full developmental edit does require a $500 deposit upon booking that will then be applied towards the final balance. All other services are one-time fees due upon booking.

Are there any styles of romance or tropes you don't take on?
Not really. I am a romance reader through and through, and my library includes about every romance subgenere out there. That said, before agreeing to work together, we’ll talk through your book’s genre and tropes just to make sure I’m the best fit for your vision, too!

What if I'm delayed getting my draft to you?
Listen, life happens! Especially these days. I book my schedule with room for life to, well, life. Writing can be unpredictable. So long as you stay communicative and give me a head’s up when changes or delays arise, we can usually work through things easy peasy. That said, I do have a full calendar, so flexibility is key for both of us.

I've got some follow-up questions, can we chat?
Absolutely! My number one priority is to make sure that all of my feedback makes sense to you and gets your creativity flowing. Never hesitate to contact me as we work together with any questions you may have.

Do you edit non-romance books?
At this time, no. Mainly because I am selfish, and romance is my favorite kind of book to read. Do what you love, and all that.
